What You'll Do
As the Project Coordinator, you'll serve as the central point of communication throughout each project while ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer expectations are met.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate residential and commercial window and door projects from contract through completion
- Review sales orders for pricing, accuracy, project scope, and scheduling
- Purchase products, materials, and services from vendors and manufacturing partners
- Manage project schedules, deliveries, installation timelines, and field communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, installers, vendors, and internal teams
- Track project documentation, order status, change requests, and critical deadlines
- Coordinate pre-finish services, delivery logistics, and installation readiness
- Resolve scheduling conflicts, material shortages, warranty concerns, damaged products, and service issues
- Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining high standards for quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability
- Identify opportunities to improve project processes and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Project Coordination, Construction Coordination, Project Administration, or a related role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable learning new software and internal systems
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly desirable:
- Residential construction
- Remodeling
- Windows and doors
- Flooring
- Roofing
- HVAC
- Cabinetry
- Building materials
- Construction suppliers
- Home improvement
Knowledge of construction practices, installation scheduling, or building products is a strong plus.
