Rogers Group Inc. is currently seeking a Heavy Truck Mechanic II/III for the AL SMA. This position will be reporting to the Shop/Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform repairs on heavy trucks, heavy equipment and asphalt equipment.
Trouble shoot and diagnose a wide range of service issues that affect major components such as engines, brakes, transmissions, torque converters, hydraulic systems, drive train components, heating and cooling, and electrical systems.
Inspect machines for abnormalities or defects.
Perform routine scheduled maintenance on construction equipment and dump trucks.
Complete maintenance and work order repair records.
Be able to weld and fabricate, as needed.
Heavy equipment parts familiarization including parts catalogs, procurement, handling, storage, and cost of heavy equipment parts.
Perform housekeeping duties and work area checks.
Operate mobile equipment.
