We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist - PRN (Per Diem) to join our team. This is a highly efficient, streamlined position where our experienced Pharmacy Technicians handle the heavy lifting, allowing you to focus purely on core clinical duties: accurate prescription verification and patient counseling. It is the perfect role for a pharmacist looking for a straightforward, flexible shift with zero administrative hassle.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Verification & Dispensing: Review, verify, and final-check prescription medications accurately while strictly adhering to safety standards.
- Patient Counseling: Provide clear, comprehensive consultations to patients regarding their medications, proper dosages, and potential side effects.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate, basic pharmacy records and ensure standard retail compliance with federal and state regulations.
- No Immunizations or compounding
Skills & Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Core Competency: Strong foundational knowledge of retail/outpatient pharmacy workflows, prescription dispensing, and basic pharmacy laws.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain clinical details in an easy-to-understand manner for patients.
Pay: $58.00 - $65.00 per hour
