Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Feed Mill Worker to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining feed mill equipment, handling raw materials, and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality feed products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Operate milling machinery and associated equipment to process raw ingredients into finished feed products efficiently and accurately
- Perform manual handling of raw materials, including loading, unloading, and transferring grains and other ingredients using material handling equipment such as forklifts
- Conduct routine equipment inspections, perform basic maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
- Assist with grain handling tasks, including storage, cleaning, and quality checks
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure compliance with food processing safety standards
- Support manufacturing processes by measuring ingredients accurately using basic math skills
- Operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts
- Document production activities accurately and report any operational concerns
Requirements
- Prior experience in the milling industry or agriculture is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and maintenance
- Experience with food processing or manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely
- Familiarity with material handling equipment such as forklifts and grain conveyors; forklift certification is a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols
- Experience operating heavy equipment including farming machinery, commercial trucks, or tankers is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a team-oriented setting
- Valid driver's license for operating commercial vehicles or tanker trucks is beneficial

· Starting Compensation: $20 to $21 hr.
