About the Role:
The Store Lead is the head leader of the Scoop Shop and plays a vital role in bringing Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream experience to life. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations and front-line management of the store while working side by side with the team. The Store Lead ensures that every shift upholds Kelly's standards of exceptional hospitality, quality, and fun.
You'll spend most of your time scooping and leading on the floor, with 1–3 hours of administrative work each week. As a full-time leader, you'll also help manage staff, oversee inventory, maintain store operations, and support overall performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, Manage & Hold Accountable: Build a positive, high-performing team through coaching and example.
- Customer Focus: Ensure every guest receives friendly, fast, and memorable service.
- Inventory Control: Oversee ordering, usage, and storage of all products and supplies.
- Training & Development: Teach and mentor team members to uphold Kelly's standards.
- Sales & Labor Management: Support efficiency while maintaining a great guest experience.
- Maintenance Oversight: Report and follow up on store upkeep and repairs.
Schedule Expectations:
- 38-40 hours per week
- Closing shifts
- Weekend Shifts
- Availability to flex with business needs
Who is a good fit?
- 1-3 Years of management or leadership experience required.
- Food service experience preferred
- Good with fast-paced environments
- Has new ideas and is willing to improve the work environment

Pay
This is a tipped position
Base pay: $17 per hour plus tips
Tips average an additional $8 per hour, bringing the typical wage of $25 per hour with an estimated yearly income of $52,000 if working 40 hours/week.
