Amarillo Steam Team offers fire and water mitigation, home restoration, and carpet cleaning services throughout West Texas. As Receptionist, you are a key team member supporting the work of management and our technicians. You are responsible for clerical, receptionist, and project-based work to contribute to the day-to-day operations. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, self-directed, and enthusiastic. We are looking for someone driven to project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction while working cooperatively with others to manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Professionally represent Amarillo Steam Team as being the first point of customer contact
- Provide upbeat customer service experience
- Maintain Accounts Payable database by entering new and updated customer and account information
- Notify customers of service call status and follow up with customers after the work is completed
- Clerical duty on daily basis including filing, job data entry, payroll audits, and employee files.
- Receive new loss and lead calls, communicate with project managers and crew leaders
- On call rotation answering main company phone week nights and weekends. To receive emergency loss details, dispatch technician, and send work authorizations to clients.

Job Requirements:
- Computer literate with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and other computer software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
