Cleaning & Maintenance Professional Wanted
Phenix Salon Suites – Nassau County, NY
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Cleaning & Maintenance Professional to service three salon suite facilities located in:
- Baldwin, NY
- Freeport, NY
- Garden City, NY
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, professional environments and has basic handyman experience.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Must be able to travel between all three locations daily
- Must be dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Must be comfortable working independently
- Basic maintenance and handyman experience required
- Must be able to lift and carry cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment
Daily Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect restrooms
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Vacuum and maintain common area floors
- Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces
- Clean mirrors, counters, doors, and other common area surfaces
- Monitor facilities for cleanliness and maintenance issues
- Report any major repairs or safety concerns
Weekly / As-Needed Maintenance Tasks
- Interior wall painting and touch-ups
- Clear minor sink and drain clogs
- Replace damaged floor tiles
- Replace sink fixtures and faucets
- Replace light switches and outlet covers
- Perform minor repairs throughout the facilities
- Assist with suite turnover preparation when tenants move out

The ideal candidate is someone who notices the little things, takes ownership of their work, and can keep our facilities looking professional for our tenants and their clients. We are looking for a long-term team member who is comfortable handling both cleaning duties and light maintenance tasks.
Pay: $27.00 per hour
