We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures to support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and research. Core Responsibilities
- Specimen Processing: Receive, label, and analyze patient samples (blood, urine, tissue, bodily fluids) to ensure the highest integrity and correct labeling.
- Diagnostic Testing: Perform complex manual and automated microscopic, bacteriological, hematological, immunologic, and chemical tests.
- Result Analysis: Detect abnormalities or infectious microorganisms. Verify, document, and report results accurately so clinical staff can determine diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot complex laboratory analyzers. Perform routine preventative maintenance and document all actions.
- Quality Control: Strictly implement and monitor Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) protocols to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict biohazard, infection control, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., NABL, OSHA, or local health authority).
