:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Jamesville (EE - GM)
A shy 17-year-old male is looking for a DSP in the Jamesville area to support him to improve his communication skills and encourage him to participate in hobbies, clubs, and his interests. This individual lives with his parents. He enjoys running, jumping, and watching YouTube. He enjoys going out and going to parks. He also likes eating ice cream, burgers, and fries from McDonald’s.
He will be leaving for college at the end of August and will no longer need services after that. The ideal candidate is willing to explore different activities in the community,
This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services.

Hours and days of work: Flexible after 4pm.
Starting pay: Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old.

Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community.

Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills

No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.

New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.

Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
