Strategic Importance of this Role to the Company:
Operations Manager is expected to:
· Perform at a level necessary to meet and exceed customer expectation and satisfaction for household relocation services, commercial relocation services and warehouse operations.
· Accountable for the services provided and the execution of continuous improvement of workforce talent, performance quality and safety.
· Expected to exemplify integrity and accountability at the managerial level as well as demonstrate excellent team leadership skills.
· Demonstrate the ability to build, manage, coach and develop a successful staff.
· Empower a cohesive team to deliver on E.E. Ward Moving & Storage high operating standards, while ensuring the best service to our valued customers.
This position is ultimately responsible for the following areas of the business:
1. Efficiently lead, coach and manage team members responsible for interstate, intra-state HHG and Commercial Office relocation services.
2. Recruit and maintain a staff of talented and qualified personnel with a strong customer focused work ethic and passion for excellence.
3. Effectively manage branch expenses and revenues
4. Champion of company performance
5. Oversee the vehicle maintenance program for E.E Ward owned / leased equipment
Requirements:
· At least 5 years of successful moving, storage and relocation management experience in all areas of operating a business
· Proven experience for developing a team to provide high-level customer service and customer experience
· Proven experience in building business and strong networking abilities in both commercial and residential areas
· Ability to professionally communicate at all levels of an organization as well as with vendors, customers and contractors
· Consistently driven to succeed in team building, internal and external customer relations and overall business growth
