Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues, defects, and non-conformances promptly.

Maintain a clean and organized inspection area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Functionally test and inspect a wide range of devices — laptops, smartphones, tablets, and more — and verify repairs before product moves downstream.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, repair techniques, and testing methods.

Provide technical guidance and assistance to team members as needed, serving as the resource for difficult grading calls.

Own team performance against key metrics — first-pass yield, defect/escape rate, return and RMA rates, inspection throughput, and grading accuracy.

Track and analyze KPI data to identify trends, address inefficiencies, and keep the team on target.

Investigate recurring defects, returns, and escapes, trace them to their source, and partner with production to implement corrective actions.

Continuously evaluate inspection and testing workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.

Identify opportunities to reduce defects, rework, and cost, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and enhance productivity.

Ensure every device is securely wiped and that data-sanitization procedures are followed, verified, and documented to protect customer information and maintain compliance.

Maintain detailed inspection logs, non-conformance reports, and audit records.

Work is typically performed indoors in an environmentally controlled office environment. There is little to no exposure to extreme environmental conditions and/or job hazards.
