Job Title: HR Coordinator
Summary
We're looking for a motivated HR Coordinator who is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree to join our HR team. This role is heavily focused on recruiting support. The majority of your time will be spent sourcing and speaking with candidates for hourly, remote positions. You'll also get exposure to onboarding, social media/employer branding content, and general HR operations, along with ongoing training and mentorship to build a strong foundation for a career in Human Resources.
Responsibilities

Screen applicants, answering questions, scheduling interviews, and guiding candidates through the recruiting process for hourly, remote positions

Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, reviewing applications, and coordinating next steps with hiring managers

Maintain accurate and timely candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)

Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparing paperwork, scheduling orientation, and following up with new employees

Help create and update social media content and brand materials that support recruiting and employer branding efforts

Support other basic HR administrative tasks as needed (filing, data entry, responding to employee questions, drafting communications, etc.)

Participate in HR training sessions and actively apply new skills and best practices to daily work
Qualifications and Experience

High school diploma or GED required

Completed or pursuing a college degree is preferred

Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or Recruiting

Comfortable and confident speaking on the phone for extended periods of time

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Highly organized with good attention to detail

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing a consistent schedule

Basic familiarity with social media platforms including Linkedin and Facebook; graphic design or content creation experience is a plus.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with an ATS or HRIS system is a plus, but not required
Physical Demands and Working Conditions

This role is performed entirely in a home office/remote setting

Requires extended periods of sitting and computer use

Requires extended periods of talking on the phone (approximately 75% of the workday)

Must have access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet space suitable for phone-based candidate conversations

Ability to use standard office equipment (computer, phone, headset)

Available to work primarily during Eastern Time (ET) or Central Time (CT) business hours
