Position: Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. Appropriately assesses, plans, implements, and evaluate patient care. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Circulates during C/Sections, attends deliveries assisting the physician as needed. Follows appropriate policies during the recovery and care of surgical patients. Attends the neonatal station in the C/Section suite and completely assesses the neonate post delivery. Attends fetal monitoring certification classes every two years. Attends S T A B L E certification class if offered is NRP certified. Able to identify necessary information to be communicated to physicians and patients.
Facility Requirements
- Must hold current ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN certifications. All certifications must be through the American Heart Association (AHA) and attached to the submission.
- Must possess a current Wyoming RN license or RN Compact License. License must be attached to the resume.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in:
- Level I Nursery
- Postpartum
- OB/GYN
- Labor & Delivery (L&D/LDRP)
Experience may include:
- Care of OB/GYN patients (including post-operative hysterectomy patients)
- Antepartum care
- Triage care
- Labor and Delivery care
- Postpartum care
Pay: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour
