Weekend Day Material Handler/Bander
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Looking for a long weekend schedule with full-time pay? Join a growing manufacturing team as a Weekend Day Material Handler/Bander! Work three 12-hour shifts each week and receive an additional 4 hours of pay when all scheduled shifts are worked, giving you a full 40-hour paycheck.
Job Duties
As a Material Handler/Bander, you will:
- Safely move and bundle steel and other metal components
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, hoists, and hand tools
- Transport finished products to staging areas for the paint department
- Prepare wood spacers using saws and other tools
- Accurately complete production records and paperwork
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Work closely with team members to ensure efficient production flow
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and participate in team lifts up to 100 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the shift
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16"
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
- Manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, or material handling experience is preferred but not required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Work Environment
This position is in an indoor manufacturing facility where safety, teamwork, and productivity are top priorities.
