A reputable automotive dealership is seeking a dependable Porter/Greeter to join our team. In this role, you will welcome guests, assist with vehicle movement, support the Service Department, and help ensure every customer visit is efficient, friendly, and professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Warm Welcome: Greet all guests entering the Service Department promptly and professionally, directing them to the appropriate team member or area.
Vehicle Assistance: Safely move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles as directed by the Service Department.
Customer Support: Assist customers with basic directions, dealership amenities, and a smooth arrival and departure experience.
Service Lane Support: Help maintain an organized service drive by keeping traffic flowing and ensuring vehicles are staged appropriately.
Vehicle Care: Handle customer vehicles with care and respect, following dealership safety and driving procedures at all times.
Lot Organization: Assist with maintaining vehicle placement, cleanliness, and organization around the service lane and customer areas.
Shuttle and Transport Support: Assist with transporting vehicles, customers, or dealership items as needed and as assigned.
Department Assistance: Support Service Advisors, technicians, and managers with daily operational needs.
Communication: Communicate clearly with team members regarding vehicle status, customer needs, and service lane priorities.
Cleanliness: Help keep customer-facing areas, service drive, and vehicle staging areas clean, safe, and presentable.
Support: Assist the Service and Sales Departments with additional duties and tasks as needed.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous dealership, porter, valet, lot attendant, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
Ability to safely operate vehicles with both care and attention to dealership procedures preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
Comfortable driving and parking a variety of vehicles safely.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Driver's License required.
