Job Summary
Looking for an Ironworker with current welding certifications to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations. Your expertise will ensure that all welds meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Duties
- Decking, and joist welding.
- ability to help throw decking.
- Perform certified welding using MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and other approved techniques on construction sites, adhering strictly to blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards. We use 1/16 Coreshield 8 wire.
Qualifications
Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of fabrication processes and welding techniques.
- Deck and joist welding is a must.
- Certified welder with valid credentials demonstrating proficiency in MIG, and FCAW welding processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to ASME codes & standards; ability to operate scissor lifts, boomlifts and forklifts safely.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for fabrication tasks.
- Strong teamwork ethic combined with excellent communication skills; ability to adapt quickly in dynamic project settings.
This job is starting 7/12 if the right candidate is found it will lead to larger, longer jobs around the Oregon, Washington area.
Must have reliable transportation.
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
