A supplier in Schertz, TX is seeking a motivated Order Selector to join their team at their distribution center. As an Order Selector, your job will be to work with inbound customer orders in the Receiving Department, as well as keep track of stock and maintain an organized inventory of supplies.
The Order Selector is responsible for the execution of various duties and tasks associated with daily warehouse functions, operations, and activities- especially counting, inspecting, and receiving inbound and outbound orders. As an order selector, you will use an RF scanner to receive inventory and utilize a cherry picker and a rider jack to pull product. Basic knowledge of these tools is REQUIRED.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, count, inspect, and receive inbound orders.
- Use an RF scanner to receive orders.
- Select, palletize, and audit outbound orders.
- Accurately stock products in proper locations.
- Accurately complete shipping/receiving logs for all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.
- Use a cherry-picker/reach truck to reach and place product.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of RF handheld scanners.
- Forklift (cherry picker/stand-up/reach truck) experience is required.
- Rider jack experience is required.
- Ability to lift 35+ lbs without assistance.
- Powered and non-powered material handling equipment.
- Order selecting experience.
- Must be comfortable with heights.
- Adequate mathematics skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Stocking, receiving, and selecting accuracy.
- MUST pass background and drug screening.
Starting Pay:
$15.75/hr.
-Pay increase after 90 days.
Shift:
Monday-Friday
7 AM- 4 PM.
