The Spayd's Company is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Crew Leader to join our team. This position is ideal for a dependable, hands-on professional with a strong background in all aspects of landscaping and proven leadership in the field.
The Senior Landscape Crew Leader will be responsible for leading a crew, managing daily job site operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining safety and efficiency on every project.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscape crew members on a daily basis
- Perform and oversee all aspects of landscaping, including planting, mulching, pruning, edging, bed maintenance, and general property upkeep
- Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Read and execute job assignments according to company standards and client expectations
- Train crew members in proper landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use
- Monitor job quality and ensure work is completed on time and to specification
- Communicate effectively with management, team members, and clients as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of field experience in landscaping
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of landscaping
- Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to lead by example and motivate a team
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools safely
- Valid driver's license preferred [or required, if applicable]
- Ability to lift, carry, and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
- Valid Pa Drivers License

- Knowledge of plant materials and proper maintenance practices
- Experience with landscape installation and enhancement projects
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality

Pay: $27.00 - $37.00 per hour
