Job Overview
I am seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide part-time, easy-to-manage care for my mom in her private home. This position offers part-time set hours. creating a predictable schedule. My mother is 96 years old, walks with a walker, is continent, and loves watching Americas Got Talent and the Guardians. She exercises daily, dresses, and mostly drinks her nutritional drinks with very little solid foods. She has heart failure which is being managed. Part of the caregiving duties include, listening to her heart and lungs, monitoring for any edema, making sure she has exercised daily, uses the incentive spirometer, takes her Bp prior to evening meds, pulse ox, monitoring bowels, urine output, weight, etc and logging in the daily book.
Two caregivers are with my mother certain hours to ensure there is an RN seeing her daily.
Hours available:
4-7pm Tuesday
4-7pm Thursday
8am-12noon Fridays
4pm-7pm Fridays
7pm-11pm Sundays
My mom is pleasant and easy to be with. She is 135 lbs and under 5'. She is generally in bed by 7:00pm.
$32.00 hourly for RN Weekly pay through ADP.
Interviews are conducted by a caregiver and scheduler, Donna, RN
