Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile X-RAY / CT Technologist PRN to join our dynamic medical imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality computed XRAY and tomography (CT) scans and assist with various diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Your expertise will support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, ensuring exceptional patient care. This position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate staffing needs and provides an exciting opportunity to work across diverse clinical settings, including emergency rooms, urgent care centers, and specialized imaging departments.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT , Xray and DEXA imaging equipment to produce detailed images for diagnostic evaluation.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and maintaining patient safety protocols.
- Apply aseptic techniques during invasive procedures and handle contrast media administration with precision.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
- Maintain thorough documentation of imaging procedures, patient information, and technical parameters in compliance with hospital policies.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards related to radiation exposure, infection control, and patient privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with specialized training in CT imaging.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
