Furever Feline Cat Rescue (FFCR), a US based 501c3, is seeking a US based, dedicated individual to join our Board of Directors. Experience NOT required – We support learning new things.
NO OPT students. Must live in the USA.
This is a remote, volunteer-based position and a great opportunity to help us keep building an innovative nonprofit.
NOTE: FFCR does not intake cats. We are currently focused on building The Hawk, a mobile feral cat feeder that promotes sustainable, environmentally responsible colony care. Please visit our website https://fureverfelinecatrescue.org/ to learn more about our mission before applying.
We're looking for someone who:
- · Can be a direct assistant to the President/Founder
- · Is willing to learn nonprofit and board procedures
- · Is punctual and reliable
- · Is a meticulous note taker and communicator
- · Can dedicate 3-6 hours per week
Responsibilities Include:
- Learning grant research, colony research, accounting, etc.
- Learning how to post Indeed ads and screen applicants
- Attending quarterly board meetings (virtually)
- Approving new volunteers timely
- Approving purchases as needed (also timely)
About the Board:
- This is an unpaid volunteer position
- We operate with a 100% participation model—everyone contributes. All board members are required to make a donation of at least $1 per year to demonstrate commitment
