We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher, following Creative Curriculum to inspire and nurture our youngest learners during their critical early childhood years. Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that foster literacy education, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional learning tailored for toddlers.
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and emotional well-being among children.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about each child's progress, milestones, and needs.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high standards of childcare and classroom management.
- Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and inform lesson planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting, preferably with toddlers or preschoolers.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and Montessori or similar educational philosophies.
- Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Experience with special education approaches, early intervention programs, and literacy education strategies.
- Ability to lead a team of educators while maintaining a positive and energetic classroom atmosphere.
