Responsibilities
- Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotation, repair, and replacement to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety.
- Conduct oil changes and automotive fluid replacements using appropriate tools and procedures to maintain engine health.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, battery checks, and light mechanical repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform minor mechanical repairs efficiently and safely.
- Conduct wheel alignments to improve vehicle stability and tire longevity.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred.
- Mechanic experience with knowledge of standard passenger cars and automotive diagnostics.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, and tires.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy tires or vehicle parts safely during service procedures.
- Experience with automotive fluid replacement procedures such as oil changes and coolant flushes.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about technical work.
- Basic understanding of wheel alignment processes and minor mechanical repairs.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating standard passenger vehicles safely.
