We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Duties
- Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure cleanliness.
- Carry out industrial cleaning tasks as needed, focusing on high-traffic areas and specialized equipment.
- Maintain and buff floors to keep them in excellent condition.
- Assist with residential painting projects when required.
- Conduct commercial cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas are sanitized and presentable.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and safety protocols is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment.
