Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Also open to other licensed professionals such as: LMFT, LPCC and a Licensed Psychologist to join our team. Under the direction of the Lead Clinician, the Licensed Clinical professional is responsible for providing psychotherapy, counseling and other forms of therapy services to clients.
***Must be Licensed by the California Behavorial Board***
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct cognitive behavioral therapy sessions to promote positive behavior change and emotional well-being.
- Implement crisis management strategies to support clients in acute distress or emergencies.
- Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring timely follow-up and continuity of care through effective case management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in compliance with coding standards.
- Provide Direct care and support to individuals with special needs, including those with autism and other development disabilities.
Skills
- California LCSW license (or one of the above licenses)
- Experience in a clinical or hospital setting working with individuals with special needs or in a mental health setting is preferred
- Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and interventions
- Knowledge of crisis intervention and crisis management strategies
- Obtain and maintain government and agency required background clearances
- Competency in MS Office tools and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
- Excellent oral and written communication and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills as well as high level of accuracy
- Possess a high level of integrity, honesty and strong work ethic
- Maintain a professional demeanor. Able to interact with and communicate pertinent information, verbally and in writing
