Milligan University Libraries invites applications for a full-time position of Director of Libraries. This position is considered administrative faculty and provides library users with instruction and guidance in obtaining and utilizing learning resources, Additionally, the Director of Libraries administers the operation of the University library, including planning, organizing, directing, staffing, evaluating, reporting and budget management. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2026.
Qualifications: Successful candidates will have an MLS/MLIS or equivalent from an ALA-accredited institution. Previous administrative experience required and supervisory experience preferred. Successful candidates should demonstrate a strong Christian faith and commitment to Milligan’s mission as a Christian liberal arts university. Theological Library experience and qualifications are preferred.
