Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and a genuine love for teaching students of all ages. This role involves creating engaging dance lessons that foster creativity, discipline, and a love for movement. The Dance Instructor will work closely with students to develop their skills and confidence in various dance styles.
Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive dance lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
- Teach various dance styles, ensuring students understand techniques, rhythms, and choreography.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Organize and participate in recitals, performances, and competitions to showcase student achievements.
- Collaborate with other instructors to develop curriculum that aligns with educational goals.
- Maintain a safe and clean studio environment for all students.
Experience
- Previous experience in dance instruction is preferred, with a focus on childhood development or early childhood education being a plus.
- Strong background in lesson planning and curriculum development related to dance or physical education.
- Experience working with children and adults in an educational or recreational setting.
- Skills in additional areas such as cooking or sewing can be beneficial but are not required.
- A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students through movement.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
