As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service, maintaining extensive menu knowledge, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable and seamless dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and professionally while creating a welcoming dining atmosphere.
- Present menus, explain specials, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages according to fine dining service standards and timing expectations.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, wine pairings, and cocktail offerings.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service and address concerns promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and maintain tables, ensuring cleanliness and proper table settings at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Process payments accurately and follow all cash handling procedures.
- Adhere to health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fine dining, upscale restaurant service, or hospitality preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and fine dining etiquette is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong teamwork skills and commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays or service items as needed.
