Armed Level III Security Officer (On-Call / As-Needed)Job Summary
We are seeking a highly professional and vigilant Armed Level III Security Officer to join our team on an on-call, as-needed basis. This role involves providing security services across various client sites, ensuring safety, and maintaining a secure environment.
This position requires flexibility, including availability for short-notice call-ins and the ability to work any shift (days, nights, weekends, and holidays). Hours are not guaranteed.
Candidates must supply their own duty belt, ballistic vest, and sidearm.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor assigned properties to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV and other security systems
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
- Enforce client and company policies while maintaining a strong professional presence
- Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when required
- De-escalate conflicts using strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Maintain consistent communication with supervisors and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Level III Armed Security License (required per state regulations)
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or private security preferred
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
- Proven ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work a flexible, on-call schedule with short notice

- Reliable transportation to work site where patrol vehicles are provided
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Must provide copy of current/active guard card via email
Pay: $30.00 per hour
