Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, dining areas, and surrounding spaces through regular cleaning routines.
- Buss tables promptly during service to ensure a smooth flow of guests’ dining experience.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall restaurant or hotel operations, including serving guests when needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
- Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks such as cleaning, food prep, or bussing enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Experience working at hotels or catering events can be an asset for supporting diverse hospitality functions.
