Morales Gardening is seeking a dependable and hardworking Landscaping Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for maintaining residential, commercial, and HOA landscapes by providing exceptional lawn care, irrigation monitoring, pruning, weed control, and general landscape maintenance. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working outdoors.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscape maintenance for residential, commercial, and HOA properties.
- Mow, edge, trim, and blow lawns and hardscape areas.
- Prune shrubs, trees, and plants to maintain appearance and health.
- Remove weeds and apply weed control products safely.
- Monitor irrigation systems and report leaks or necessary repairs.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and seasonal color as needed.
- Clean landscape beds and remove debris.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including mowers, weed eaters, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other hand tools.
- Follow all company safety procedures and job site standards.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and clients.
- Assist with special landscape projects when assigned.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
Qualifications
- Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred but not required.
- Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Pay: $18.75 - $20.00 per hour
