Duties
- Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while offering personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety
- Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and provide correct change or receipts using POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting in food preparation or kitchen support as needed
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience with a focus on food service and guest relations is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing attentive customer service
- Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is a plus but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment with a positive attitude
