We are looking to hire Retail and Production associates for our high-volume thrift store. Previous experience is a plus but not required.
Cashier Duties:
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately- Scan and bag items for customers- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed- Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, as it allows for effective communication with a diverse customer base- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle customer transactions while maintaining a clean and organized work area - Proficiency in retail math, including basic math calculations for cash handling
This position requires a reliable and friendly individual who can provide excellent customer service while efficiently handling cash transactions. The ability to communicate effectively, both in English and potentially other languages, is essential for serving a diverse customer base. Strong time management skills and the ability to upsell products are also important for this role. Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling responsibilities.
This position requires a set schedule. Please do not apply if you cannot work these hours.
The hours are: Friday 1:00pm-7:30 pm. Saturday 9:45am-7:30 pm. Sunday 9:45am-6:30pm. Monday 1pm-7:30pm. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday- OFF
Production Associate -
We are also looking for Production Associates to sort, clean and tag donated merchandise. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of name brands are a plus but not required.
Production Associates have set schedules (same schedule every week).
The schedule that we are looking to fill:
- Tuesday through Saturday 9am-3:30pm
