EVS Floor Care Technician Supervisor

Job Summary:
Supervises and participates in the cleaning, restoration, and maintenance of all carpeted and hard floor surfaces throughout assigned facilities. Oversees daily floor care operations, assigns work, and ensures quality standards are consistently met. Travels throughout the Phoenix market to oversee major floor care projects and provide hands-on support at multiple facilities. Covers floor care responsibilities when team members are absent to ensure uninterrupted service. Performs preventative maintenance on specialized floor care equipment, trains and mentors floor care staff, participates in the department's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities, and performs other duties as assigned.
Regulatory Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years of commercial floor care experience, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, carpet extraction, and hard floor maintenance. Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to travel between assigned facilities throughout the Phoenix market.
Language Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Bilingual abilities are preferred.
Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of commercial floor care procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ability to supervise, train, and motivate floor care staff while maintaining high quality standards.
- Ability to plan, organize, and complete large-scale floor restoration projects.
- Ability to prioritize work and respond to staffing shortages by providing direct floor care coverage as needed.
- Ability to read, understand, and operate specialized floor care equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Required Experience:
- Commercial Floor Care: 3+ years
- Supervisory or Lead Floor Care Experience: 1-2 years preferred
