Icon Tattoo is a luxury realism tattoo studio based in Northport Village, New York. We are home to a team of elite
artists who specialize in high-end portraiture and realism work — and we are actively building the brand infrastructure
to match. We are looking for a driven, creative individual who wants to build something real from the ground up.
This role starts part-time — and that is intentional. We want to see how you learn, how you grow, and whether you
can absorb the culture of what we are building here. For the right person, this becomes a long-term career managing
content for 10+ artists across multiple platforms, events, and brand extensions.
You will be mentored directly by leading professionals in the tattoo industry and given an inside look at what it
takes to build a luxury brand in a field most people never get access to.
THE ROLE
As our Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing and executing content across all of Icon Tattoo's social
media platforms. You will work closely with our artists to capture and communicate what makes this studio different —
the craft, the culture, and the clientele.
— Capture and edit photo and video content in the studio on shoot days
— Develop and manage a consistent posting calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
— Create Reels, stories, and short-form video content that showcases artist work and studio culture
— Write compelling captions aligned with the Icon Tattoo brand voice — luxury, authoritative, and aspirational
— Film and edit client testimonials to highlight transformations and long-term artist relationships
— Coordinate with the shop manager and artists on scheduling and content planning
— Monitor performance metrics and provide weekly reporting on growth and engagement
— Assist in repurposing long-form content into multi-platform short-form assets
— Support the development of educational and behind-the-scenes content that positions our artists as industry
leaders

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
— Experience with short-form video creation and editing (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
— Strong eye for aesthetics — you understand what luxury looks and feels like
— Proficiency with editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)
— Ability to shoot quality content with a phone or camera in a studio environment
— Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal hand-holding
— Strong communication skills — you can take direction, ask smart questions, and deliver
— Genuine interest in tattoo culture, art, and the lifestyle we represent
— Reliability and consistency — you show up, you execute, and you grow
Prior experience in a tattoo studio or creative agency is a plus, but not required. What matters most is your ability to
learn the brand and grow with the culture.
This opportunity is for an IN-HOUSE hire, NOT an agency hire.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
