A well-established private school in Brooklyn is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Kindergarten Teacher for the upcoming school year. This is a search for a candidate who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a positive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood standards
- Create a warm, structured, and supportive classroom environment
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and school administration
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-wide initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- NYS Teaching Certification (or in progress)
- Prior experience teaching in an early childhood setting preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for working with young children
