Job Summary
Are you a compassionate, dependable individual who loves helping others? We are seeking mature, dedicated, team-oriented individuals to join us as Caregivers and/or Medical Technicians. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality resident care, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring the well-being of individuals in an assisted living setting. This position requires a strong commitment to caregiving, attention to detail, and dedication to the well-being of our residents.
Duties
- Provide resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADL's), personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, mobility, and other daily living activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behaviors.
- Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medication and care documentation.
- Provide residents with dementia care and support individuals who may be experiencing changes in mentation and ability.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to deliver best-in-class care and service.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and sensitive information.
Skills
- Strong caregiving skills with experience in home health or home care settings preferred, but not required.
- CNA certification a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Ability to pass a background check in alignment with the State of Michigan care provider standards.
