We are seeking honest, accountable, reliable, self-motivated and hardworking individuals to fulfill the role of Warehouse Associate. Skilled labor knowledge of and experience with shipping and receiving (with emphasis on receiving) is essential, but we are always willing to train the right candidate. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Managers in receiving, delivering, and occasionally transporting various office and furniture systems for our clients with the understanding that you are the face of our company. Interested applicants are expected to have working knowledge of offloading straight trucks and tractor trailers (up to and including 53') and reliable transportation. A dedication to superb customer service is required and attention to detail is a must.
General Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift product in excess of 50 pounds
- Knowledge of how to safely operate general hand tools and equipment
- Flexible availability, to include some nights and weekends (overtime paid)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Punctuality
- Working knowledge of receiving processes and general warehouse tasks
- Experience with inventory management
- Exceptional organization skills
- Ability to safely and efficiently offload 16', 26' and 53' trailers
- Ability to carefully lift/carry product in excess of 100 lbs.
- Knowledge of general warehouse tools: pallet jack, hand truck, etc.
- Sensible safety standards (how to lift properly, how to prevent trips and falls, material cleanup, etc.)
