Position Overview
Ambler Dental Care and Bear Valley Dental Care are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Temporary Dental Hygienist to join our team to provide maternity leave coverage from late August through the end of November. This role is ideal for a flexible and dependable professional who is comfortable working across multiple locations and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Schedule & Locations
This position will provide coverage at both our Ambler and Hatboro offices:
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Ambler/Hatboro)
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Ambler)
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Ambler)
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hatboro)
- Every other Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Ambler)
Flexibility to work between both locations is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and patient education
- Take and review digital radiographs
- Conduct thorough periodontal charting and assessments
- Collaborate closely with the doctor and team to support optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
- Create a welcoming and positive experience for every patient
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel between Ambler and Hatboro locations
