Bachelor’s degree
5 of the most recent 7 years' experience working in a leadership role in healthcare patient accounting and/or patient access
Working knowledge of budgeting and departmental management
Working knowledge of patient billing procedures
Working knowledge of diagnosis and coding, insurance claims, and billing procedures
Ability to successfully interact, communicate and coordinate with applicable varied stakeholders, including patients, families, general public, staff, peers, leadership, and physicians
Desired Qualifications:
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Responsibilities:
Directs the overall operations of patient accounts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and improving operational processes which meet Infirmary Health’s (IH) standards of quality, efficiency, and desired outcomes.
