Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center by handling various warehouse tasks. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting.
Duties
- Load and unload materials and products from delivery trucks using pallet jacks and other equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock levels by organizing and storing products in designated areas.
- Perform regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
- Follow OSHA safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Build and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly packed and labeled.
- Assist with materials handling tasks, including sorting, counting, and moving products as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with AS400 systems for inventory management is a plus.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong physical stamina to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
