The City of Norfolk’s Department of Human Services (NDHS) provides a wide range of essential services to its citizens. The NDHS is seeking a Fiscal Monitoring Specialist I to perform the daily revenue/receivable cycle activities and revenue budget activities associated with services of NDHS with the goal of maximizing reimbursements/revenues in a cost-effective manner that is in compliance with Federal/State and local guidelines and policies.
This position supports all revenue transactions and reports related to the VDSS programs, CSA (Children’s Services Act), and variety of other Grants and Local programs, all reconciliations with the General Ledger, State accounting systems, and overseeing the internal control.
Department Hiring Salary Range: $54,190 – $62,185
