Position Summary
The Dry Cleaning Finishing Crew Member is responsible for the final preparation of garments before customer pickup. This position ensures all garments are professionally pressed, steamed, inspected, packaged, and organized according to company quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Garment Finishing
Press and finish garments safely using hot pressing equipment and techniques.
Safely steam garments to remove wrinkles.
Carefully scan and use computer to ensure they are delivered to the correct location.
Handle specialty items with extra care to avoid damage.
Quality Control
Verify pressing quality meets company standards.
Identify and report any quality concerns to supervisors immediately.
Ensure all garments are clean, properly finished, and customer-ready.
Order Organization
Equipment and Work Area Maintenance
Operate pressing and steaming equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
Follow all equipment operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications
