Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to assemble and fabricate components according to specifications. Ability to work overtime as requested.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using sheet metal and other materials.
- Operate hand tools, including but not limited to grinders, saws, and welding machines.
- Utilize a press brake machine for bending and shaping metal parts as required.
- Perform pipe threading and other related tasks to ensure proper assembly of components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Conduct quality checks using tools such as micrometers to ensure precision in fabrication.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in sheet metal fabrication techniques and MIG welding processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and machinery effectively.
- Familiarity with TIG welding is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
