Ike’s Artisan Pizza is looking for creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated team members to make the magic happen in our kitchen! Our ideal candidate will be detail and task oriented with experience working in a scratch kitchen. Our team members must be eager to learn and follow procedures. Ike's will be serving up Middlesboro's newest pizza obsession and we need the perfect people to cook those pizzas to perfection!
The following positions are open to be filled at Ike’s: Prep Cook, Line Cook, and Pizza Cook.
Tasks for these positions include preparing fresh dough and pasta from start to finish, using fryers/grills to prepare our premium dishes, and use of our famous pizza oven. These positions will be responsible for early morning food preparations, plenty of slicing and dicing, and layering up Middlesboro’s newest favorite pizzas.
Main Responsibilities of a Pizza Cook:
- Layering/Preparing pizzas to order
- Safe operation of our famous pizza oven
- Pizza making from start to finish - tossing the dough, layering up, popping in the oven, and boxing up at the perfect time
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
- Memorizing and understanding our extensive menu of complex and delicious pizzas
- Close attention to Kitchen Display Systems, acknowledging and executing any specialized orders
- Ability to step in and assist Line and Prep Cooks when necessary
Candidates must be hardworking, energetic, and able to work in a team environment and follow kitchen procedures.

Who is Ike? Ike's was founded by Isaac Martin Ausmus. He is the grandson of the late Ike Slusher. (Hence, the name Ike's Artisan Pizza) Martin's love for food started this obsession. He decided to open a warm welcoming place with a comfortable atmosphere where you can share delicious pizza and a cold brew with friends and family. Known for its scratch dough that is made in-house daily and fired in an open Woodstone pizza oven. The best you have ever eaten! Family comes first for Martin, so bring the crew and enjoy a pie!
