Assabet Valley Housing Inspections LLC, a growing local independent public housing inspection company, is seeking an experienced inspector for state, federal and section 8 housing inspections. Basic knowledge of the Massachusetts sanitary code and HUD NSPIRE is required.
This is a part time, permanent, contractor position. The working hours are mornings into early afternoon. You will travel to, and will be working onsite, with local Massachusetts housing authorities primarily west of Boston, and along the 495 belt. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked in a housing authority, in maintenance or is semi-retired looking to break into the field.
Pay is based on completed unit inspections. You will earn an average of $50 plus dollars per hour. Inspections are completed on paper or on an iPad using PHA web or PHA net software. There are no benefits with this position.
Excellent organizational, administrative, interpersonal and attention to detail skills are required along with a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
