SECOND SHIFT; MONDAY - FRIDAY 5PM-7:30PM
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of commercial, industrial, and residential spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners to ensure optimal results
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks like window washing, surface disinfecting, and floor care including buffing and polishing
- Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs needed or hazards identified during cleaning rounds
- Assist with specialized cleaning projects such as industrial cleaning or post-construction cleanup when required
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning environments is a plus
- Experience with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or light painting is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures accurately
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
