American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU Float Pool position in Ohio, requiring telemetry skills and Epic proficiency on a night shift schedule.

Work setting is a hospital PCU Float Pool

Float pool assignment — may be required to float to an OSU-affiliated hospital located approximately a 5–6 minute walk away
-
May also be required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity

Estimated patient ratio of 1:3–4

Epic EMR experience is required

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Active OH or Compact RN license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

IV insertion and telemetry monitoring skills required

Epic EMR experience required

2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; no coworker references accepted

Local candidates are accepted

Former employees of the facility are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation

Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period

Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly after accepting the position — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location or will be mailed a fingerprinting packet to complete urgently
