We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dental Office Manager to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of service and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a background in dental administrative support and office management. The right person is able to communicate professionally, has strong interpersonal skills, and has experience working with customers. We are looking for someone who is looking to grow with the practice over the long term.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for patients and their families. Handle patient inquiries, and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of dental professionals, ensuring smooth and efficient operations during busy days with a high volume of patients. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Billing and Financial Management: Accurately process billing and insurance claims. Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
- Patient Relations: Address patient issues and manage problems as they arise. Ensure patient satisfaction by maintaining clear communication and providing timely resolutions to any concerns.
- Operational Support: Act as the right hand to the owner, assisting with day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth running of the practice. Coordinate schedules, manage inventory, and oversee office maintenance.
- Administrative Duties: Perform customary office management tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing office supplies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an office manager required
- Previous experience in a dental office management role, preferably in a pediatric setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in dental billing and insurance processing.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-stress situations with grace.
- Familiarity with dental office software and scheduling systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
