Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Folding Carton Sales Representative to generate new business and grow existing accounts within our packaging division. This role is focused on selling high-quality folding carton solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate understands the demands of packaging buyers, can navigate complex projects, and works closely with estimating and production to deliver profitable, realistic jobs—not just quotes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities within folding carton packaging (CPG, food, pharma, cosmetics, etc.)
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Actively prospect through calls, visits, and industry networking
- Work directly with estimating to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely quotes
- Review customer specs, drawings, and requirements to ensure feasibility before quoting
- Own the project from initial RFQ through production and delivery
- Set proper expectations with customers on pricing, lead times, and capabilities
- Coordinate with internal teams (prepress, pressroom, diecutting, gluing, QC) to ensure smooth execution
- Resolve issues proactively when jobs don’t go as planned
- Meet or exceed sales and margin targets
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in folding carton, packaging, or commercial print sales
- Strong understanding of carton structures, board grades (SBS, C1S, etc.), and production processes
- Proven ability to generate new business—not just maintain accounts
- Ability to read and interpret specs, dielines, and job requirements
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and accountability
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Compensation:
- Base salary + commission structure
